Antam Adapts to Single-Window Export Policy via DSI

PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) has officially responded to the government’s new single-gate export policy, managed through PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI). Antam’s Corporate Secretary, Wisnu Danandi Haryanto, stated that the company views this initiative as a strategic move by the government to bolster the governance of national commodities. He noted that the policy aims to increase the added value of natural resources while strengthening Indonesia’s standing within the global supply chain. “Antam will certainly comply with government directives and adhere to all applicable regulations,” Wisnu confirmed in an official statement to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on June 1, 2026.

In line with this policy, Wisnu emphasized that Antam is prioritizing the domestic market, particularly for downstream products and strategic national commodities. The company is currently executing a business strategy focused on reinforcing domestic industrial ecosystems while remaining committed to selective, sustainable export opportunities. This focus is evidenced by Antam’s financial performance; according to the consolidated report for the period ending March 31, 2026, domestic sales reached Rp 28.31 trillion, accounting for 97 percent of the company’s total net sales. “This achievement reflects our strategy to strengthen the domestic industry and support the creation of mineral value-added processes within Indonesia,” he added.

To ensure a smooth transition, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto announced that exporters would be granted a grace period before the policy is fully implemented on January 1, 2027. During this transition, companies are required to report their export activities to PT DSI. “The policy begins tomorrow, marking a transitional phase where export activities will continue as usual under the supervision of the respective companies,” Airlangga stated during a press conference held in Jakarta on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Furthermore, he noted that reporting processes for these state-owned export enterprises will be facilitated by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise under the Ministry of Finance.
