Investigators from the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) raided the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) headquarters on Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. The search operation began at 2:00 AM local time and remained ongoing throughout the day.
According to information obtained by Tempo from law enforcement officials at the AGO, the raid is linked to allegations of corruption involving the sale and purchase of service points for the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) within the government’s Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program. Tempo reached out to the Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaiman Nahdi, and the Acting Head of the Legal Information Center, Mohammad Jeffry, for comment, but neither has yet provided a response.
While the AGO previously indicated that an official statement regarding the raid would be issued on Wednesday afternoon, the government is simultaneously addressing the situation at the administrative level. Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi confirmed that the government is currently conducting an internal audit of the MBG program’s implementation under the leadership of the recently removed BGN Head, Dadan Hindayana.
This development follows the government’s announcement on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, confirming the dismissal of Dadan along with his two deputies, Sony Sonjaya and Lodewyk Pusung. “Everything is currently undergoing an internal audit process. As we have reiterated, this is part of the continuous monitoring and evaluation that we perform,” Prasetyo stated at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta.
